These bookmarks are available at my etsy store.
This embossed leather bookmark was inspired by the Egyptian God of writing and wisdom, Thoth. He was associated with the nilebird, the Ibis. The bookmark features the Ibis and the papyrus plant which grew by the Nile. The Egyptians used the papyrus plant to make the scrolls they wrote on.
The bookmarks were embossed with a hand carved stamp and hand pressed on an etching press. They are available in two different colours: moss and rust.
